Susamma & Adahlja

Classification: Elder God(s)

Religion: The Covenant

Countries: Any region Ithuet elves reside

Dogma: Susamma and Adahlja are a mother/daughter pair. Susamma (mother) represents wisdom and nurturing and Adahlja (daughter) represents action and progression. The pair unite in Ithuet religion to encompass the laws of nature and the tools in which to learn from it. The Ithuet believe that Susamma set the stage and Adahlja proactively learns from her mother and provides people with the means to interact on and with that stage. If a hurricane devastates a coastline it is considered Susamma's will; however, if an Ithuet discovers a mathematical formula enabling her to make certain predictions, it is considered Adahlja's will. Unlike most religions, the Covenant do not erect temples or even have priests. Susamma and Adahlja permeate all aspects of Ithuet society in so much that recognition of these deities is part of every-day life.
