Dogma: The name Vera'Tyr and any records found mentioning the name come only from clay tablets written in what is believed by a scant few scholars as Orcish. Presently there is no indication that orcs can communicate with written language, though there is strong evidence they did at one point in antiquity possess limited literary capabilities. The tablets provide little more than vague religious scripts, a commonly used name being Vera'Tyr or "Shepherd." Written Orcish is extremely difficult to decipher, therefore there is no real understanding of this deity frequently mentioned in their ancient records. What little has been translated puts Vera'Tyr in a position to be a God of bloodshed and cannibalism. After the Tears of the Gods fell recently there appears to be a revival of Vera'Tyr religious fervor within some orc tribes.
